Sirens Studios is an independent development and production studio based in Berlin. It combines experience in traditional television and moving-image development with new AI-assisted production methods.
Depending on the project, Sirens Studios works with an established network of experienced freelancers in story and format development, directing, visual development, post-production and AI. This creates teams tailored to the specific task.
The studio develops its own stories and formats as well as projects for production companies, platforms, agencies and brands. Sirens Studios was founded and is led by Fotini Tzani.
Fotini Tzani has worked in television development and production since 2012. Her experience ranges from format development, writers’ rooms and dramaturgical leadership to scriptwriting, editorial work and creative direction, through to post-production. Her work to date includes numerous TV and streaming productions as well as format and story development for broadcasters and platforms.
Seven of those years were spent in development at Seapoint Productions, filmpool entertainment and UFA Show & Factual. During her time at UFA, she won The Spark, a Fremantle development competition, with an original concept and took part in the subsequent mentoring programme. She was also part of Connecting Creativity, an international development initiative by Fremantle.
Her further training as an AI Media and Content Designer at WBS Training adds generative text, image, video and audio processes, as well as a sound grounding in law, ethics and project management, to this production expertise.
AI does not replace editorial judgement or dramaturgy. It expands the possibilities for making ideas visible and testable earlier, and for planning their production.
